Gasa Restaurant

As a European trying South Asian food for the first time, ordering this Tamil catering for our Christmas family party was a wonderful surprise. The dishes were full of flavor without being overwhelming, making them easy for everyone to enjoy, even those unfamiliar with the cuisine. Everything arrived beautifully prepared and well organized, with a great variety that felt both festive and comforting. The spices were aromatic rather than too hot, and each dish had its own distinct taste, which sparked a lot of curiosity and conversation around the table. Most importantly, my whole family absolutely loved it, and it turned out to be a memorable and exciting alternative to a traditional Christmas meal.

I’ve been going to Gasa since I was a kid, all the way back to their Kennedy and Finch days, and they’ve never disappointed. Their kothu roti is my absolute favourite — whether it’s mutton, egg, or chili chicken, it’s always packed with flavour and hits the spot every single time. And their Singapore noodles? So good, always perfectly done. My go to place when taking food for my friends. Gasa is just one of those places I keep going back to. Consistent, comforting, and honestly still my top choice for Sri Lankan food.

They never disappoint my expectations. I tried all their food. That's all tasting wad good and packing was good , it's a tamil srilankan restaurant i mostly like their kothu and briyani , no matter what kothu [chicken,mutton, seafood or chilli chicken] that's all delicious , if you need a best srilankan style food go and try on gasa restaurant
